How to Take the Virtual Tour

There are a couple ways to take this virtual tour of World War II.
  1. Using the links above (or the menu in the navigation bar), click on Chronology, and work your way sequentially through the historical period. You can do this quickly, or over a period of days or weeks. Then dip -- or deep-dive -- into the Special Topics, Places and People later, or as the events in the chronology move you.
    OR...
  2. Using the links or menu above, go straight into the Topics, Places, or People of particular interest to you. Refer to the Chronology to supplement your deep-dives, or as you feel so inclined.
